You will receive your login credentials to access our ticket support system, where you can get 24/7 support from the Gurus. Depending on which of our three plans you subscribe too, you can submit up to an unlimited number of tickets per month to get help with anything from installing a theme or plugin, to customising your website, creating forms, adding new content, fixing general bugs, plus anything else you need help with!
Backup Automation
We will set-up our backup programme on your WordPress website, with automated backups being taken daily (WP Essentials & WP Plus) or hourly (WP Ultimate), and stored safely and securely off-site. This ensures that you always have a working backup of your website, ready to put to use if the worst happens to your website and you lose your data.
Staging Area
If you sign up to our WP Plus or WP Ultimate package, you get the huge advantage of a Staging version of your website. This allows both you and The WP Gurus team to test any changes in a staging environment, before pushing those changes over to your live site. This helps to avoid any type of problems which can (and do) occur when making changes and updating files on your website. With the staging area, you can be 100% certain that any changes you make will work flawlessly on your live site, without any downtime or problematic issues.

Each of The WP Gurus plans are for one website.
If you have multiple websites that you would like us to take care of for you, then you can contact us to enquire about bulk discounts.
Small jobs are any job on your website which takes 45 minutes or less to complete. Our Gurus work super-fast, so this covers most jobs that our clients request. These jobs include things like:
- Installing and configuring plugins or themes
- Debugging issues on your website and applying a fix
- Customising your theme or plugin files
- Creating and deploying forms on your website
- Connecting third party services such as MailChimp or payment processors
If your job will take longer than 45 minutes to complete, then we will either provide you a quote for us to complete the job for you, or, based on your job usage history, go ahead and complete the job for you for free.
Most small jobs are completed within 60 minutes of a request being made. If your job is high priority, then you can let us know when you submit the task and we’ll ensure it’s completed as quickly as possible.
In order for us to effectively maintain your WordPress website, we need two sets of credentials from you:
- WordPress Admin Details
You can create a new ‘administrator’ account for us to use to gain access to your WordPress admin area, or you can provide us with your admin account details and we’ll create a new admin account which we will use to access your website. - cPanel Admin Details
We also need access to your web hosting account, so that we have direct access to your files and the MySQL database powering your website.
With these two sets of credentials, we have everything we need to provide the full WP Gurus maintenance and support services.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
We accept payments via Credit and Debit Card, processed through Stripe. We also accept payments via Direct Debit.
Our support team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The WP Gurus team is always available, whenever you need them.
Yes, all of our service plans come with free hack cleanups and malware removal. We extend this to new signups, as well as clients who already have an account with us.
Most of our team are located in London, UK, but we also have team members across the USA, Canada, and Australia; this allows us to ensure we can provide 24/7 support around the clock.
In most cases, we will complete the job for you even if your allowance has been used. We will then deduct that job from your next month’s allowance. In some circumstances, you may have to pay for an additional task, but this is uncommon.
